Workspace Elements Corporate Office Remodel: A Living Showroom for HNI Brands

As Workspace Elements transitioned from its long-standing partnership with MillerKnoll to a new partnership with HNI, the Workspace Elements team took the opportunity to transform its own office into a living showroom. 

This corporate office remodel served both a practical and strategic purpose: to reflect the quality, aesthetic, and innovation of HNI’s family of brands while offering an inspiring, highly functional environment for employees and clients.

A Strategic Approach to Redesigning the Workspace

The remodel was designed to showcase HNI’s portfolio across different type of work settings, like private offices and collaborative zones to lounge spaces and meeting areas. The updated office needed to demonstrate not just product variety, but how thoughtful design and furniture selection work together.

Turning the Office Into a Working Showroom

Led by designers Jessy Rosh and Sarah Breinholt, the Workspace Elements team approached the remodel as both a creative project and as a client project, since it will be functionally used by the team and clients. Every piece of furniture was intentionally sourced to highlight the breadth of HNI’s capabilities.

The design and installation process had to hold real-world functionality so the Workspace team got to test and experience the products they specify for clients daily. 

The project was completed in 2025, on schedule, all while maintaining business operations throughout the renovation.
